Thomas M. Flowers, RHU

Thomas M. Flowers, RHU provides employee benefits consulting and brokerage services for clients in Georgia, Alabama, Indiana and Florida. He focuses his efforts in two main areas - key account employee benefits and large case life insurace.

Tom is a Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table and serves on the Georgia Consumer Affairs Council for Blue Cross and BlueShield of Georgia. He is also a member of the Agent's Advisory Board for Quality Healthcare Partnership (QHP). Tom holds the Registered Health Underwriters professional designation from the American College and is a 1976 graduate of Emory University.

Jay M. Lewis, LUTCF

Jay M. Lewis, LUTCF is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and has earned the designation of Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. In 1991, he entered the insurance profession with Bookman & Lewis, Inc. of Florida. Before joining Flowers-Lewis & Associates, Jay was the Executive Sales Manager for BenefitMall, Georgia Offices. In that capacity, he developed considerable expertise in the design and implementation of employee benefit plans. His specialties include group major medical health plans, group ancillary benefits and worksite voluntary benefits integrated with Section 125.

Jay is a member of the Georgia Association of Health Underwriters and is the founding President of the local Chattahoochee Association of Health Underwriters Chapter. He currently serves on the Agents Advisory Council of United Healthcare and Quality Healthcare Partnership (QHP). Being involved locally and nationally with professional carriers enables Jay to keep his clients informed of the latest trends and how it will affect their business.

Barbara Hall Smith

Barbara Hall Smith is responsible for getting all individual products placed with the best carrier for the client's needs. These products include life, disability, annuities, HSA, medicare supplement, long-term care and dental insurance for individuals. She holds and agent's license in life and health and is particularly knowledgeable in the individual products market, including a comprehensive understanding of long-term care insurance products.

Barbara has enjoyed success in the insurance industry since 1985. Prior to that time, she worked with her father, who was a leading producer in the life insurance industry from the 1950's to the early 1980's. She also serves as office administrator and maintains the duties that position requires. She is the consumate professional who works tirelessly to afford our clients the best service possible.

Debbie Hinson

Debbie Hinson began her career at Aetna Insurance Company as a customer service representative. She was also employed with a subsidiary of The Medical Center of Central Georgia that specialized in sales and marketing of group health insurance for small businesses in Central Georgia.

Debbie received her agent's license in 2004 and prior to joining Flowers - Lewis & Associates in 2005, she was responsible for the sales and marketing of individual health and life insurance with a regional general agency. Her primary focus is the networking and selling of our superior products and services to the small businesses in the Columbus area.
